Arshia's career has predominantly revolved around club management and business development. With a wealth of knowledge in programming and marketing, gained through managing some of the most prestigious sports complexes in the industry, he brings invaluable expertise to Fretz TC and Impact Activities. Notably active in the community, Arshia possesses a comprehensive understanding of junior programs, tournaments, leagues, and the latest sports products and equipment.
Arshia holds a prominent position as the driving force behind all operations at Fretz TC. Beyond this role, he also assumes a key oversight role for operations at various Impact Activities facilities, including The Courts McKinney (TX), Samuell Grand TC (TX), LB Houston TC (TX), Mcleland TC (TX), and Coronado TC (CA).

Tim Barnard
(Adult Director)
Tim is a certified USPTA Professional, USPTR Wheelchair instructor and MTI Certified Mental Toughnes Instructor. Tim currently serves on the board of the Dallas Professional Tennis Association with 25 years of teaching and programming experience. Tim began his career at Fretz and has also been Director of Tennis –Greenhill Tennis Center, Adult Director-Brookhaven C.C. Tim played college tennis and was ranked in the top 5 in Open Singles, Some of Tim’s accomplishments include winning ClubCorps “SuperStar” award from over 20,000 employees, won 8 SPC Conference Championships and was selected “Coach of the year 2011, 2012, 2013 from the Texas Private High School Association. Tim’s expertise in team tennis has brought countless adult USTA Sectional and National titles and TCD Champions as coach.

Jake Williams
(Tennis Professional)
Jake was exposed to tennis at a young age due to growing up in a family of tennis fanatics. While making his way through the junior ranks of the Texas section, he was able to obtain an athletic scholarship to St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. During his time there, he was able to help lead the team to their first national ranking into the top 40 of NCAA Division II while playing each of the top 4 positions in singles and mainly 1 doubles. With continued playing after college, Jake was able to obtain a ranking into the top 3 in the Men’s open singles division and a top 2 ranking in the Men’s Open doubles division in Texas in 2014. He has also made a national appearance for Men’s 5.0+ division in USTA league tennis in 2015. Jake spent the first two years of his professional coaching career as the assistant coach at St. Mary’s University. Since this time, He has spent time being on staff as a USPTA Certified tennis teaching professional as well as Program director experience at Various Dallas and San Antonio, Texas tennis facilities teaching all levels of junior and adult tennis. He is excited to bring his on court knowledge and enthusiasm to Fretz Tennis Center.

Seth Harris

Seth has been teaching tennis for 15 years at various levels of the game. He started his career at a junior academy in Iowa, has coached collegiate tennis at the NAIA and Division I levels, and has taught and run programs at country clubs in Texas and North Carolina.
Seth brings a lot of energy and a love for the game to his teaching style. He believes that through tennis, players can learn life lessons such as dedication, hard work, commitment, and a competitive spirit.
Seth enjoys working with junior and adult players at all levels to develop technique, strategy, and a strong mentality. He puts a focus on developing all aspects of the game for his players. Whether they are recreational or competitive, Seth strives to help all players reach their full potential on and off the court.

Lexi Penn

From Longview, Texas. I’ve been playing tennis since I was 4 years old with my dad being my coach. I played USTA tournaments around Texas before and while playing for Spring Hill High School leading up to being the 2019 Girls Singles 4A State Champion. I continued my tennis career at the University of Central Oklahoma while graduating with a Bachelors degree in Biology in May 2023. Some of the accomplishments while playing include: 4x All Academic Team, 2x MIAA Conference Champs, 2x Regional Champs, ITA National Indoor Runner Up, NCAA National Championship Runner Up. Starting in August 2024, I will be attending Texas A&M College of Dentistry to study Dental Hygiene. While in college, I taught at Edmond Center Court in Edmond, OK and The John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, TX.

Shan is a native to the Dallas area, who grew up playing in the Frisco metroplex. Shan was a four-year varsity player at Frisco High School and played Division 1 and Division 3 Tennis in College at the University of Texas and Texas at Dallas. Some Impact Activities members may recognize him from his tenure at LBH. Shan is a high-level coach with a lot of experience in competitive tennis and brings a fun personality to the courts.

Matthew Mino, a Bay Area native and Oklahoma State University graduate, picked up pickleball six years ago in Los Barriles, Baja. Since then, he has competed in professional tournaments, including winning the Texas Open 5.0 division. Now based in Dallas, Matthew coaches and mentors his brother, a pro on the PPA Tour. This experience gives him a unique perspective, and he is deeply passionate about helping more players unlock their full potential.
